Your art, your frame

It all started in 1987 and since then we've framed an unbelievable amount and variety of things for our clients. From football shirts and famous prints to 3D objects and box frames - we've framed it all. Having been picture framers for such a long time enables us to visualise what your piece would suit as soon as you arrive at our workshop! Having said that though, we certainly don't like to pressure you during the ever-important decision making process! After all, framing a piece of artwork is a decision where the detail really counts, and our huge selection of picture frames and picture mounts lets you find the perfect fit for both your art and your home.

Keeping your art in top condition

Getting something framed isn't just about presentation, many of the interesting things we've framed over the years have been equally about preservation, as well as presentation. Two techniques we use here include special UV protected glass glazing to sit in front or your art. This acts as a kind of 'sunscreen' protecting your picture from ultra-violet rays from sunlight which can cause discolouration in your artwork over a period of time. The second main technique we use to preserve your piece is 'acid-free' picture mount board. We always recommend using acid-free opposed to economy mount board, as over a long period of time the natural acids that reside inside economy mount boards can cause discolouration within the mount board itself.
